It seems Dominic Cummings and Boris Johnson are hell bent on hiring deviants and giving them high security clearance to Downing Street. The latest addition to Cummings’ team is Dougie Smith, co-founder of ‘Fever Parties’, who organised and hosted orgies and swingers parties for the wealthy in Mayfair for 5yrs. Swingers parties which, by the way, also encouraged young single women to attend but refused access to single men.
Dougie’s not new to the scene though, he worked as a strategist, an ‘opposition researcher’ (basically digging up dirt on opposition members) and as speechwriter for David Cameron and Nigel Farage recently accused him of bribing Brexit Party candidates with peerages if they stood down prior to the 2019 election.
The Mirror are also reporting that Dougie had a hand in the recent ‘reorganisation’ of cabinet special advisers, which resulted in number of high-ranking aides being sacked.
Also worth noting that Smith is married to Munira Mirza, Boris Johnson’s Director of Policy. Mirza previously held the post of Deputy Mayor for Education and Culture when Johnson was Mayor of London.
Some of the more observant of our readers might recall that it wasn’t all that long ago that we learnt about another Tory, Jamie Wallis MP, whose company owns “Sugar-daddy.net”, a website that offers to introduce young boys and girls to wealthy sugar daddies, and who can forget the controversy over the recent appointment of another aide, Andrew Sabisky, the so-called “super forecaster”. Sabisky, who openly advocated for eugenics and had even spoken at a white nationalist eugenics conference, resigned the post over the controversy.
Are these exceptional cases or is there something even more concerning about the Tory ruling class mind-set and the general attitude of the wider Conservative parliamentary party? The recently published report into allegations of child sexual abuse in Westminster by the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA), was quite damning. The report was highly critical of the former leader of the LibDems & peer, David Steel, over his handling of serial abuser Cyril Smith but it was equally damning of the Conservative party’s handling of Chester MP, Peter Morrison, in the late 80’s. The report explains how the party “made efforts to suppress these rumours rather than conduct a formal investigation” and focused instead on mitigating “political consequences rather than the welfare of the child”. It goes on to explain how “Senior officials within the Conservative Party knew about allegations concerning Morrison for years but did not pass them on to the police”, which not only allowed him to continue abusing but also to become Margaret Thatcher’s parliamentary private secretary in 1990 and then to be knighted the following year. In fact, the report claims that Margaret Thatcher was aware of the allegations but did nothing and concludes that “Peter Morrison was protected as a member of the establishment.”
All signs are that there’s still a culture of abuse in the Conservative Party. When a party knowingly and regularly hires sexual deviants who prey on young girls and boys to senior positions, then there’s clearly something seriously wrong. Also, let us not forget the story of Jade Smith, the young Tory activist who took her own life only 5 months ago because she had been repeatedly sexually assaulted. Shortly before committing suicide, Jade sent out a series of tweets explaining what it was that had driven her to take her own life…
“There’s one last topic I want to talk about before I go and say my goodbyes and it’s about the Conservative Party. This is the last time I’ll ever have a platform to ask them to change, to beg them for young people’s sake to change. Back in 2015/2016 I tried to kill myself several times because of the Tory party. I was institutionalised due to bullying and harassment I received. I was stalked by the press, the press stood outside my college with cameras. I was an 17/18 year old female who had been bullied. I’ve always received abuse for being a Tory. But the abuse we receive from each other and the older people in our associations is what takes it too far. We shouldn’t have to put up with the bullying from each other. We shouldn’t have to be worried that our friends are going to be raped at conference or at the very least sexually assaulted. We shouldn’t have to put up with creepy weird old men maturating over us or grabbing us to go and chat to their friends and try to take us home at the end of the night. There’s a reason we don’t feel safe at conference.”
It seems that despite Jade’s desperate plea, despite all the critical attention they get from official bodies, the Conservative privileged classes continue to believe that they are truly untouchable, that ‘they’ don’t have to observe common law and that they can hire sexual deviants, who like to prey on young people, if they want to. Of course, the real question is why anyone who supposedly isn’t a sexual deviant would be comfortable hiring someone who is?
