Spotlight are producing voting reports on the current Labour leadership and deputy leadership hopefuls.

This report compares how each candidate compares to Jeremy Corbyn on any bills, motions or amendments relating to matters concerning military action, defence policy, policing, legal matters or fire & rescue services. The full report is in the reports section of the Spotlight website but in this article we’ve broken down some simple stats showing how often the candidates did not agree with Corbyn or abstained for some reason.

When looking at these stats it’s important to understand that some MPs have been in office a lot longer than others so we’ve included term dates to provide context.
