During the Andrew Marr interview today, Hancock clearly admits the virus is extremely contagious and repeatedly warns against the risk of bending lockdown rules and he admits that, “in the same way that for adults, around 1 in 3 people catch the disease, don’t know they’ve got it, they are asymptomatic but they could pass it on.. so children can be safe yet still have the disease asymptomatically and therefore pass it on” and yet he has the brass neck to then argue, as Johnson did last week, that schools are still safe for children.
Here’s Johnson, last Sunday, telling Marr that “schools are safe” and should remain open, only a day before he does another u-turn and closes them down.
Ask yourselves how two people, socially distancing but walking together in a park together and carrying hot drinks are more dangerous than a school full of kids. I don’t blame the police for this confusion, they’re simply following the, often confusing, government guidelines. Now ask yourselves if you would ever give Matt Hancock or Boris Johnson a job in ‘your’ company. Frankly, I wouldn’t trust either of them to weed my garden unsupervised.
Once you’re done answering those questions, ask yourselves if we’d still have over 80,000+ dead from COVID (inside of 10 months) if Labour had won the 2017 general election and if Jeremy Corbyn’s had been Prime Minister. How much more prepared would the NHS have been under a Corbyn led government when COVID hit in 2019 and do you think Corbyn’s priorities would have been to protect peoples lives and jobs or to protect big business?
If, like me, you’re convinced we would have fared better under a Corbyn led government then you can’t ignore the fact that the Parliamentary Labour Party, who sabotaged and effectively destroyed the party’s chances of winning in 2017, along with all the media platforms who colluded, without evidence I might add, to smear Corbyn as an anti-Semite, a terrorist sympathiser and labelled him weak because he refused to take sides in the Brexit debate (choosing instead to give the British people a 2nd vote), are all equally responsible for the 80,000+ deaths and the steep curve of COVID infections we’re witnessing today, as the Tories, who they so ably assisted into government.
